Short bio

Francesco Miele is Researcher in the e-Health research unit of the Bruno Kessler Foundation of Trento. He received the Ph.D in Sociology and Social Research from the University of Trento, Italy (2012) and the National Scientific Habilitation for Associate Professor in 14 D1-Sociology of Economics and Work (from march 2017). He is also member of Research Unit on Communication, Organizational Learning and Aesthetics of the University of Trento and is adjunct professor at University of Verona and at University of Trento. His recent research interests include the technology-mediated coordination of healthcare professionals and patient in telemonitoring, the workplace health promotion initiatives and the management of complex therapies in elderly patients. He has worked also on the occupational health of precarious workers, childcare services, gender and care work and inter-organizational networks in technologically dense environment.
